What is SplatStudio?
SplatStudio is a white-label AI platform that lets you build, deploy, and scale AI-powered applications. It supports multiple AI providers (OpenRouter, Cloudflare, Fal.ai) from a single interface, with multi-agent support, custom branding, and enterprise-grade security.
How do I get started?
Create a free account, configure at least one AI provider key in Settings, create an Agent with a system prompt, and start chatting. No credit card required for the Free plan.
Which AI models are supported?
We support GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Gemini Pro 1.5 (via OpenRouter), Llama 3.1 8B (via Cloudflare Workers AI), and MiMo V2 Flash (via Opencode). You can add custom providers too.
Do I need my own API keys?
Yes. SplatStudio acts as a platform layer — you bring your own AI provider keys (OpenRouter, Cloudflare, etc.) to power the models. Your keys are stored securely and never shared.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 100 chat messages, 1,000 API calls, and 50,000 tokens per month — enough for development and light usage. Paid plans unlock higher limits and pay-per-use metered billing.
How does pay-per-use billing work?
Pro and Enterprise plans include a metered billing component at $0.02 per 1,000 tokens. You only pay for what you use on top of your base subscription, tracked automatically via our Stripe integration.
Can I white-label this?
Yes. SplatStudio supports custom domains, branding (logo, colors, favicon), and multi-tenant isolation. Set your organization name and domain in Settings, or use the API for programmatic tenant management.
Is SplatStudio open source?
SplatStudio is available as a self-hosted platform. You can deploy it on your own infrastructure via Docker Compose, or use the hosted version at splatstudio.app.
What about data privacy?
All data is processed on infrastructure you control (if self-hosted). We support end-to-end encryption, RBAC, and tenant isolation. In hosted mode, we are SOC2 compliant with full audit logging.
How do I deploy my own instance?
Clone the repo, copy .env.example to .env, add your keys, and run docker compose up. See the Docs page for detailed setup instructions.
Can I use custom models or providers?
Yes. SplatStudio supports custom provider configurations via the plugin system. Add any OpenAI-compatible endpoint or Cloudflare Workers AI model.
What is the API rate limit?
Free: 100 requests/hour. Starter: 1,000/hour. Pro: 10,000/hour. Enterprise: configurable via OPA policies. Rate limits are enforced at the gateway layer.
